I'm out in the Zion area (Washington Utah to be exact) and heading out to Death Valley and up the CA coast. The sound on my 2014 Chieftain went out. When I press the up and down keys, it doesn't even show on the console. If I'm on my USB stick and press the left/right keys, I can visually see the song title change and play but again, no sound and pressing the up/down arrows do nothing and don't even show on the console.

Any suggestions on what it could be or what I can try? Using the Zumo gps without sound is a real PITA and dangerous in heavy traffic because you can't see the screen in this sun and I'm constantly covering up the screen trying to see where I'm at...it's a dangerous distraction.

Thanks in advance to all replies!

Found the answer here. I have no idea how the output got changed but I'm elated it was nothing hardware related.
Now, back on the road!
