Thanks @NDN. But I am suggesting folks post what-where they wish to ride, not just the resources. I have plenty of maps, roads suggestions, etc. I've been on many of them.

I'm just trying to put up a thread for others to get ideas and suggest specific rides on specific days.

For example: Thursday, Jun 8, KSU 08:00. Destination: Clingman's Dome and back by 13:00.
Ill be arriving Thursday afternoon staying until Sun morning. Would like to ride the Cherohala and/or The Dragon. Just me and the wife so hopefully hook up with some fellow forum members for some group riding. Planning to stop by Indian of Waynesville and grab a T-shirt, bout all I can afford from Indian, LOL!

You really can't plan a bad route over there in the Smokys so I'm flexable hope the weather is good!

Just keep an eye on this thread. I'm not sending out emails to everyone, nor answering. I'm not organizing anything officially, either. Just trying to get some community together along with meet-n-greets at the rally. :)

As in forum rides then? I know our group is going. We are riding the dragon on the 7th on our way to the rally. I rode the Skyway last year after the TN meeting, really good riding. I know Ken is on here. We have our next IMRG meeting Sunday where we will talk more about this. Then I will go from there.

Anyone attending can organize a group ride. I just put this thread up for folks to discuss ideas, meet-ups, etc.
A few of us will be hanging out under the beer tent at the rally. Folks can gather there, decide where they wish to ride and go for it. Folks can probably post a piece of paper somewhere in the tent area about planned rides, I guess.

If an IMRG chapter wants to organize something - post it here. If another Indian group wishes to do the same, so be it.
One thing I wish to make clear - Indian Motorcycles dot Net (this forum) is NOT sponsoring anything. I do not speak for them, or plan for them. I'm just along for the ride. Personally, I think I might do the Waterfall circuit ride.

That said, I had a good time last year. It was a relatively small rally (first annual) and not well advertized. There was no crazy BS, folks were genuine and respectful. A few from the hotel I was staying at organized a couple of rides. The area is so rich with great riding roads, you can't do them all. I expect this year the rally will be double in size - about 500-900 bikes, maybe more.

@EskimoQuinn, my Dad is always talking about riding in this area but I have never been. So this is a first for me. Any ride is a good ride.
BEER, did I hear beer tent?? Guess I'll have to be there then!!

Guess you'll have to, then. See you there! :)
Anyone know if a Dynojet tuner will be at the Rally in Maggie? I have the new PVCX installed and was considering having my bike dynoed.

Contact Mark Moses at Charlotte Indian. Last year he mentioned about possibly bringing one this year. Mark is a major sponsor of the event.

I had my 500 mi service done at IMC Charlotte, but don't remember seeing a dyno in their shop.
I have installed a PVCX and bike is running pretty good, but some minor decel popping here and there, would like to get her fine tuned at some point.
Do you guys ever do anything in the Appalachian Mountains?

Picking my bike up from IMC Charlotte next week, hopefully.

Sure. But by Appalachian Mts what do you mean? That covers a large area. I see it as the southwestern corner of VA. Home to Claw of the Dragon, Back of the Dragon and more.
