I am a happy camper (rider) today. Bought some reduced reach bars from someone here on the forum last week. Husband put them on Thursday, and today was the first time I really got to try em out. I tell ya, they are SO much better for me (5'3"), I'm not leaned forward with all the weight on my wrists. For the life of me, I can't figure out why they discontinued them. Today was an absolutely beautiful 120 miles and I felt just as good on the way back as first thing in the morning. I would certainly recommend them for anyone thinking of making the change. I'm a firm believer in making your bike your own, especially when it comes to comfort. 馃弽馃槑

I don鈥檛 know if the mini apes could be brought down to a comfortable position or not. Some handlebars have pins that the controls mount up to that prevents them from twisting. The 10 inch mini apes are probably a bit narrower than the reduced reach bars.
