Sounds like a 2023 Pursuit Elite is coming. Looking forward to seeing what the paint scheme and differentiating components will be. UPDATE: released in April. Keep scrolling….

Anyone have any other insight or sources?

I'm trying to track one of these down myself. I think my local dealer was late to the party. If anyone hears that their dealer was able to obtain one, let me know!

Edit: In talking with multiple dealers it seems like Indian corporate has not yet allocated any of the elite models yet and likely won't for 10-30 days. I ended up dropping a deposit at my Local dealership (Iron Pony - Columbus, OH) and at Daytona Indian. $500 refundable, I can at least hedge my bets with no risk to land one. I personally have been waiting for this bike to come out since the Challenger was initially announced.

Mine is a 22 Limited Premium Maroon Metallic/Crimson Metallic. I will be trading or selling. I have the Indian Completed Stage II. Runs great and has never thrown any codes or had any issued. Currently only 1400 miles on it.
I have the exact same bike with 2000 miles, and have been arguing with myself all day on whether or not to trade it in for the Elite. The things that are different on the Elite over and above the Premium (to my knowledge):
  • Sweet paint scheme
  • Fancy 5-spoke wheel
  • LED Saddlebag lights
  • Back-lit buttons
  • 16 speakers ($3800 upgrade for Elite)
  • Adaptive headlight ($649 upgrade for Elite)
  • Select floorboards ($1000 upgrade for Elite - both rider and passenger
My dealer is getting an Elite, and it's currently unspoken for. They told me it would require $1,500 non-refundable deposit to hold it. In Michigan, with tax, title, and freight, I figure OTD cost to be around $44-45k. They only wanted to give me $28.5 trade-in on my '22 Limited Premium. I figure I can get $30-31k selling it on my own. That means a difference of about $15k. Looking at the list, I'm not sure that's worth it. Especially given that M3 has currently stopped flashing ECUs for 23 models.

But dang, I love the color scheme. Something about the exclusivity of it is compelling, at least to me. And yes, I know I shouldn't be so vain. :)

Dang, All the dealerships I spoke to had a refundable deposit. Maybe call around and see if a different dealer who is confident they will get one has a different deposit. Perhaps see if they give you a different trade-in value too.

You could get a one off, killer paint scheme for that much difference in cost.

If you ever feel like they are not treating you right, I highly recommend Fox. I really trust their service department too.

My salesman called me this morning, said the Indian rep has secured me a Pursuit Elite. Now comes the waiting game. Unfortunately, I’m sure it will not be here in time for my early June trip from Houston, Texas to New Hampshire.

How do you private message someone on here? I'm trying to contact the two Michigan guys on this thread that have or are close to ordering an Elite. My buddy has a 2023 Darkhorse Pursuit Premium on order, but is open to a used 2022 with low miles and in showroom condition if you guys move up.

PM Sent with how to Private Conversation.(y) BTW Fox has a 2022 White Pearl Icon and 2023 Blue Persuit Limited Premium on the floor right now.
Well, the Columbus dealer wasn't able to land me an elite and the Daytona dealer has yet to take my deposit. I'll going to call Daytona again to see if I can get any confirmation. As of right now I'm still looking.

It's frustrating when you try and can't confirm that you're getting one ordered for you. Seems like every Elite model released there's a few on dealer floors at some point for sale. Maybe buyers back out or the dealer orders one for stock.

Even though Dealers and Indian claim its not so there are games being played on these with employees or "friends" of dealerships. They act as an actual buyer to get an order in and then the dealership has one to put on the floor or sell. With all the L.E. models since supply chain issues it helps to have an "in" with someone. Before that you could likely just buy one off the showroom floor after arrival because they were not selling out or people backed out when it came time to pony up. Indian and dealers are making huge profit margins on these E models and they don't hold any better value than the stock production. But I guess you can say you are 1 of 150 or so......

I have a 2020 Chieftain Elite purchased off the showroom floor for 3k off MSRP and no delivery fees. Now they want me to pay MSRP, a thousand +more in fees and wait until they want to deliver it, whenever that is. It could be old news by the time it arrives or could arrive just before storage season and sit for 6 months. If you have a trade they wont make the deal until the ordered bike shows and that's not a good negotiating position. Some people have money to burn and don't care but I don't like burning money, it does not feel good. I'm in the market for a challenger/pursuit but have decided to wait until something shows up on the showroom floor that I can work with. I can deal a bit and then just have it customized one off. It may take another year but that's ok. Eventually all this nonsense is going to sort itself out and there will always be a "better" model out.

Indian Motorcycle of Springfield has multiple elites coming their way. Give them a call and speak to AA, Rob or Donna when they open Tuesday. They are great. (413) 642-3846

Where in the He!! do you put 16 speakers on a bike! You got main speaker and tweeter in the fairing, tourpack, and saddlebag lids. Did they had more speakers to the lowers? Dean

AudioPowerBand Audio with 16 Speakers
They also list 12 speakers. I don’t think it comes with speakers in the lowers. At least the images don’t show the speakers.

I’m glad I can’t get one. I’m $45 k to the good. 🤣It is a very nice looking well equipped bike. The Elites and CVOs do have better trade in values. One off paint and modifications do nothing for trade value.

Yeah, I'm still trying to figure out exactly what's going on with the speakers. One area lists 12 and another lists 16. 12 would be more realistic. Like you mentioned, the press bike doesn't show speakers in the lowers.
