Installed new Corbin seat
I love the setting for this photo! Badass!
Nothing to it if you have any mechanical ability!! MEASURE,MEASURE, AND MEASURE again before drilling!! cover front fender with masking tape in work area..measure width of fender, if open fender should be 12".....mark masking tape at center of fender (width)in several spots and draw a line down center of fender on the tape... 4 inches from the leading edge of fender... tape the front edge of the gasket down (you can adjust this point to your taste) tape rear edge of the gasket down to use gasket as a pattern over the masking tape(your center line mark should intersect in middle of mounting holes you're going to draw onto the tape from the gasket ) trace the mounting holes onto the tape...do ONE HOLE at a time...start with the hole for the wiring its the largest hole and you can measure or adjust from it....measure to center of mounting holes that you traced from the gasket and use SHARP punch to make drill starting mark and use several drill bits starting very small and slowly increasing in size till you get the correct hole size, the fender is TOUGH go slow be patient if you want a nice install. if you're doing a challenger war bonnet you need 7 pieces. (1) the light itself, (2&3) 2 mounting screws, (4)1 gasket... the light comes smooth like in photos Indian calls the side emblems decals...(5&6) one left side one right side decal, and (7) the plastic wire routing piece that goes under fender...you need the plastic wire router because the mounting screws have collars on them and will not tighten up to fender without the plastic wire router. look under challenger fender at the dealership and you will see the wire router protects the wire and directs it towards the left fork leg. you can buy cable mounting pads used for tv & computer cables that stick on the underside of fender( 3m tape) $3.00 a doz. at Lowes or home depot (make sure to get EXTERIOR pads) interior pads fall off when get wet they're about the size of a nickel and wire attaches to the mounting pads with small zip tie...i used 4 mounting pads on the underside of left side of fender and one on the underside of triangle shaped part of fender where fender mounts to fork leg which exits the wire next to the ABS wire from the front caliper...then zip tie the wire to the ABS wire on the left fork leg up to bottom of fairing, or headlamp bezel. the bikes are prewired for war bonnet and connector has label on it marked as such behind the headlamp.Like the fender war bonnet, did you do the install? Was there much issue with modifying the fender?
Thanks man! It’s a dirtybird seat made by Mustang.your bike looks awesome...what kind of seat is that?..do they make it in extended reach?
