I'll tell you guys what...I find this thread to be the most interesting, very much nostalgic, and exceptionally relaxing, to view. So much so, about once a month, I go through all the pages again...looking at all the photos. Just something about it. I don't do this with any other thread. Just this one. Oh sure, 'lady rebel' gets all the compliments for bike/clothing matching colors. But I don't hear anything about my matching polo shirts and gloves to the 2-tone paint of my Chief! 😟😫😢

Bargates Southampton.

It is the remains of the old entrance to the City which was once a Saxon walled town. Only sections of the wall and battlements remain today. It was built circa 1180. There is a bike night held there every Thursday. We got there early enough to get a clear shot of the entrance before it got swamped by bikes.
