Originally being from NYC I appreciate this pic. Late 80's I used to race the cars and bikes in Flatbush/Flatlands until the NYPD chased us away and FDNY hosed the streets down. Older and Wiser now (I think)
Very cool. Now its dirt bikes racing all over the city. Would be awesome if they would all just go out to the abandon airfield and do their thing. But I see lots of beginners there practicing on their street bikes, which is a good thingl in and of itself.

The cool thing about this old building near Zachow, Wisconsin is that my Grandmother was the schoolteacher here from 1923 to 1925. She started teaching 40 farm kids at the young age of 19, then got married and became a hard-working dairy farmer's wife. I wish I could take you for a ride Grandma!

From Wikipedia:
St. Anne Convent, located in Melbourne, Kentucky, is the home of the American Province of the Congregation of Divine Providence, a community of Roman Catholic Sisters. The convent houses the provincial offices of the congregation, the residences of two local communities, as well as Moye Spiritual Life Center. There are 140 members of the American Province of Sisters of Divine Providence, but the congregation also has provinces in France and Madagascar.

The convent was constructed in 1919 to replace the former Provincial House at Our Lady of Providence Academy in Newport and Mt. St. Martin's also in Newport.
