Is there a chance you could have shorted the VCM whilst changing the battery? it only takes a split second if you touch the VCM with the spanner whilst undoing the live terminal and the VCM is toast.
I know i checked all fuses and they where good so guess its off to buy a new oneIs there a chance you could have shorted the VCM whilst changing the battery? it only takes a split second if you touch the VCM with the spanner whilst undoing the live terminal and the VCM is toast.
Yes the bike starts and runs fine just i have no working dash and speedo i would like to to know if and when i have a problem with bike i could get a code but right now i have nothingDoes the bike start?
It could be the 10A Circuit Breaker fuse (tall gray) … no way to tell if they tripped by looking at them … Try removing it … wait a minute… and reinstall it … If still the same … replace it with a regular 10A fuse and see if that helps …

Thanks I'll check that also while I'm checking the fusesA failed ABS sensor can cause no speedometer and odometer.
I did have blowed fuses all three j fuses where blowed i replaced them all and it still doesnt work nothing worksThanks I'll look and see on my next day off i hope it is something that simple
Yeah thats what i am thinking between this bike and my car im going to have to rob a bank lolWow … if the Chassis Fuse was blown … I wouldn’t think the bike could even start. The Chassis Fuse supplies power to 4 fuses … the 20A Main Engine Fuse (tall gray circuit breaker fuse), the 10A Secondary Engine Fuse … plus the 10A Switched Power and 15A Front Radio fuses… Also powers the Main Engine Relay and Start Relay … According to the wiring diagram …
At this point it’s probably time to head to the dealer …
