Sorry Cyounce but first post needs to be an intro. We do that to thwart scammers. Rather than move it over to “new members” I left it here in the Scout section so you can get your answers.

Got it, thank you!Welcome from California, suspension is the weak link on scouts both front and rear, there's a kit in marketplace for sale for the front, adjust rear and replace levers. Then have a blast
Thank you Charlie. I’ll probably just get new levers. Do you suggest any brand? Or should I just try to find the stock ones?Welcome from Ohio!
That’s a lot of play in your levers. They are too thin for the space in your bracket, si if you don’t want to replace them, shimming the gap is the only solution. There are shim washers of varying thicknesses available from Grainger, I believe, and your bolt is most likely an M6, but check it to be sure. You might have to buy a 100 count, from them. Get a set of feeler gauges, and see what the gap measures. Then, you will know what washer thickness you need. Or, buy a new set of adjustable levers, and have fun customizing your new bike!! 😂
Charlie
Well, search the forum here, I still have my stock levers, but there are members who have added adjustable levers to their Scout. I am sure there will be some of them who read your post, and give you a few suggestions.Thank you Charlie. I’ll probably just get new levers. Do you suggest any brand? Or should I just try to find the stock ones?
