VerticalScope (owners of this forum) have audited our site. They have replaced our old forum rules (which were implemented by the founder of this forum @Nick j in 2014), and replaced them with their own rules.
You can take a look at them and please familiarize yourself with them. A couple of notes:
- the big one is no images of “scantily clad” people. After discussion, this rule has been amended so that our two favorites (NSFW gallery and “eye candy biker people”) are protected in NSFW. Those are the only places* where you can post photos of scantily clad people.
* and in the Premium Lounge, of course.
** NSFW biker humor would probably fall under this category as well.
- note that sexual jokes are also verboten. The disclaimers on nsfw biker humor still apply. You may see some tightening up of this, altho I think we’ve done a pretty good job of deleting lewd sexual stuff already. Remember that “memes” is strictly family-rated.
- rule 16 has been deleted but is under discussion. New members still cannot post under the 30/20 guideline (member for 30 days and 20 posts on a variety of topics). So the guideline is still there but simply has not been made explicit in a rule.
-signature guidelines are somewhat looser (no specific three-line max) and this is also under review. The new rules leave that to local enforcement, and we will be sticking with “no politics” and three-line max.
Comments, questions, and discussion welcome.
