I agree. I had the Rokform, liked it, but totally screwed up the compass on my iPhone XS max. They (Rokform) recommended that I remove the magnet, which makes the mount unsecured. I told them that they should consider relocating the magnet or develop a mechanical locking mechanism....fell on deaf ears.
I have gone through 6 or more different cell phone mounts (several X-Grips- ram mounts, Mob Armor, Rokform, ILM Mount, Macally Aluminum Mount, etc). In fact, I had given up on a secure mount and started putting my phone in my lowers. After seeing the Quad-Lock system (here on this thread), I ordered one. It is everything the Rokform should of been. Absolutely secure mount with the mechanical locking lever. I liked it so much I purchased the desk stand with wireless charging.
