Gave up on waiting for Scout pre-order. Took home a Chief this weekend instead.
. . . .
Very happy with the decision. Such a fantastic machine.
From what I hear, the correct choice. The red ones are the fastest.

Yup, you made the right decision...it's hard to outgrow an 1800cc. beast! Now start tricking it out and making it your own.

Think that is a great choice you make, the Scout is a nice bike, but just to small for my consideration.

Very nice. I love my Scout and my husband ordered a Chief, looking forward to riding it as well.

Congrats! I just love the Chief Classic. Have a Chief Vintage with me right now but I just love the look without the accessories. Now all you need are exhausts :D.

I agree with the look of the bike without accessories, clean and classic.

But I've got some mustang hard bags from my old bike that i will hook up with some easy brackets when i need cargo space. I also have a cheap handlebar mounted windshield that I will mount for longer trips to cut out wind fatigue.
