Has anyone installed one of these on their Chief? If so, any issues or hurdles?

I have not, but did install a Buffalo Brand Air Horn which is very high quality and fits like its original equipment.

That’s awesome they have a plug n play setup! I wish they made a compact model!

I have those plus the air horn on my Springfield. I am very happy with them. I used the upgraded wire and relay provided in the kit. Been since June and so far no trouble.
Did you keep the stock horn? I added the airhorn, and removed the stock one and placed my compressor there...now I'm having computer faults with the current being low or open. works for a few bursts and throws the error code.

I'm wondering if the dual horn is pulling the right amount of current? Did you install both at the same time? Seems like those that intsalled just the airhorn are having issues...

I installed the air horn first and had it alone for a couple of weeks. Then added the duals.
Did you use the larger gauge wiring?

I wonder if they upgraded the computer system and diagnostics from 18 to 19? Yes, 12g to the 30A 5-pin relay and compressor. Pretty sure my issue is the original horn wires going to the relay. My dealership said good luck, the bikes computer monitors everything, making it difficult to modify stuff. The only thing I have not done yet was put a 30a fuse inline, but that shouldn't affect the low voltage side, would it?

I don’t think a fuse would make a difference. I suspect the stock wiring going to the relay also.

Right after, and I mean right after, I installed the Buffalo brand airhorn, I saw a short clip where someone installed an air horn that sounded like a train whistle. Very loud and the sound was a perfect replica. I've had zero issues with the Buffalo airhorn and I love the look on my Classic but I kinda wish I had seen the train whistle one first. I don't remember the brand name but there's one out there somewhere.
