Memphis shades road warrior

Still looking for clean air on my scout bobber tried adjusting the fairing up and back just wondering if anyone has tried running The road warrior without a windshield and just as a fairing? Just took a trial drive up to about 60 and it seems to be quite a bit better than having a windshield on it

Ride into work was great, even at 80+ wind is smooth on my helmet and still enough air to keep cool. Might have found a good option this way

Found the shortest windshield on OfferUp for 30 bucks and it works better than not using one, only 2 inches higher than the bare fairing, so far best option is the shortest one

I'm trying to figure out which memphis shade to get. How tall are you? and where does the wind hit you with that size of shield?

When in doubt. Get the tallest one.

I'm 6.0 the short shield puts the wind on my helmet smoothly, the taller ones have a lot of buffeting unless my shield is down and snapped , I like riding with clear shield up and tinted visor down unless it's raining or dark out then I'll have clear shield down. Most air is off of my body with all of them but the air is smoother with the short one for riding high speed shield up
