Luggage carrier, dry bag and travel cover for my 2021 Chieftain.

After researching luggage carriers I decided to fabricate my own from designs I found online. Pics attached. Constructed of 3/8" ABS. Quick disconnect design and mounts on the saddlebag spools.
There are 4 slots for ROK straps to secure my dry bag. Platform measures 24" x 14". Goes on and comes off literally in seconds! Total cost including straps around $70.00.

Dry Bag is a 40 liter REAX Poseidon Dry Bag that I bought from Revzilla last year. Holds more than enough clothing for a two-week trip. Cost $89.00.

Travel cover is an UltraGard from Big Bike Parts, part no. 4-358. Pretty much designed for a Goldwing but works great on my Chieftain. Reinforced antenna slot sewn to cover. (yea, I know how to sew). Cost $44.00.

Thought some of the do-it-yourselfers may be interested.

Wow! Very nice job. I am envious of your fabrication skills. I have been looking at luggage racks and most are rated between 6-10 lbs. which is ridiculous. Nice job!!

Dude, you have a cottage industry in the makings here. That looks not only great but extremely functional. Let us know when you get cranked up!

Wow that is very cool! I would be interested in the same if I didn't already have the Roadmaster haha. I had to contact a curtain shop to get some plastic snap grommets big enough to fit around my flagpoles with the flags on them for my half cover I got on Amazon. So far, so good. Been on and off for a week already, no issues with anything. Post 1972 in the Touring forum thread What did you do for your Roadmaster.
