Lithium batt for 2400 amp sterio 21 Chieftain dh

Hi guys, I installed a 4-speaker Davidson Audio package w/2400 amp & 4 300 watt cicadas. Anyway, I was told that having a Lithium battery would be better. Below is the one Brandon recommends.

If you plan on using your stereo with the bike off, don't get that. It has less reserve amp hours of capacity than a stock battery. When the bike is on, the alternator should supply the power. If you want lithium for the extra cranking amps, that is a different discussion. They can supply much higher cranking amps than stock to turn the engine over faster. On the other hand, some lithium batteries are made with more reserve amp hours, but are made for deep cycle use, not max cranking amps.

Did they wire up your electrical system to handle the power requirements of a 2400w Amplifier? That will need approximately 200A at 14.4v …

The Stator outputs 740w @3500 rpms … the R/R is 14.4v/42A …

Please post how everything works and any issues …
