I have this leak but not enough to cause a puddle. The screws were loose so a gave them a little turn. The underside is clean and dry. I do not think its left from the last oil change and the dip stick is snug
The pic was after I washed the bike so I can better find leak

Bad o ring on dip stick

I agree, when the bike is sitting on the side stand the oil will eventually get up to the top of the dipstick. No pressure there but a bad oring will do what you are seeing. Dean

Mine does it too. Remember the days when oil leaks were character? Self lubricating chassis. P.

It is a damaged O-Ring must have been damaged during an oil change
