when I received my kit it had 2 bolts and spacers for floorboard hope this helps

 

I also used those bolts and spacers....still needs a 1/8 to a 1/4 more room. At this time having to really let out the bar for adjustment on the linkage. Something is wrong....do not know what.....yet.....lol !!!!

 

I'm not familiar with the Kuryakan version, but is it possible that you have the heel shifter arm on the wrong side of the toe shift lever? It should be closest to the floorboard.

 

Yes, thank you. It could go on the other , but did it correctly according to directions.

 

It looks like you have a bolt head holding the shift peg in place on the back side . My peg has threads and screws in with no bolt on the back side.

 

That is interesting and that bolt head width is exactly the distance I need....hmmmmm

 

Has any one else with a 2018 put the Kuryakan heel shifter on? Would you post a pic? Thank you.....

 

Well.....stubborn as I am , I finally figured it,as you see in the pic. Now, the directions DO NOT tell you where to put the peg. I was putting it on the heel shifter......no...no...no...you replace the the front shift peg with the bolted peg and put the peg with the thread in the back and walah !

Now....for those of us...and I know I am not the only one....am I ?.....who do not take before pics.....please look at the 2nd pic for the linkage....does the linkage go in the front or the back of the shifter attachment ?.....I know I should have the shop do it, but why, when I can have this much fun on my own.....

Finally got it with the help of Marcus. Those directions have a lot of room for improvement...but it is finished....now...to ride...see ya !!!!!
