The PanAmerica was impressive in the Hooligan race 2. From what I have seen so far, Harley Davidson found another gear.

Unfortunately it was disqualified after post race inspection.
I did not know that. The plot thickens lol. What I want to know is how late was factory Indian yesterday that had them start at the back?

I was tickled yesterday when 2 harleys had to trailer to the finish line and both factory harleys blew the engine before finishing. But Indian got schooled today. Hard to believe the lead factory harley beat second place by 8 seconds.
It felt like the two Indians put in an oem clutch last night. Just couldn't make the lap times

I think something was said that the Indians had to limit their engine rpm as part of a rules change. Perhaps that might limit the top end horsepower to some extent. We are already limited to 112 cubic inches as opposed to 131 for the Harley Davidsons.

Here's the reason why the factory Indians ran so bad today. Its not about horsepower or cubic inches.the factory Indians had the highest top speed and the bikes are pretty close on power.

Well Harley with the 131 is pretty evenly matched.
The Factory Indian team was having tire problems.

Also it didn’t help Indians efforts when they were sent to the back of the grid on race one for the penalty of being late to the parade lap.

The look at that front tire is downright scary. I can't imagine the crease on my seat if I felt that thing coming apart at 150+ under me. The Indian team wouldn't post that if they weren't dissatisfied with the manufacturer of the tire in some way.

Are not everyone running the same tires?
Or, are Indians going that much faster down the straights?
Or, are the Indians frames just that much harder on tires? (Frames lack of flex?)
Anyone complaining about “Apples and Oranges” (engine size differences), why doesn’t Indian run the “Thunderstroke”?
What will Happen if HD starts building a “Revolution Max” Bagger? Game over? 😉

So the Indians top speeds are about 7 mph faster than Kyle Wymans. Is that 7 mph difference enough to cause that type of tire failure? I'm not sure but there's speculation that the tires were under inflated to give them better grip through the turns. One thing for sure is that Dunlop will have a new tire for Daytona next year.Just jumping in here. (I know nothing about these races)

My TCL Roku TV has MotoAmerica on channel 70, was able to watch some racing on it yesterday. I hadn’t seen this channel before, so it must be new. I did watch both race 1 and 2 on YouTube last night for the King of the Baggers. It was very cool!

The thunder stroke is being run in the Hooligan class. They are not factory and they do not run up front.

This is like Amateur Hour compared to the level of organization, research, development, resources and sophistication of MotoGP. It’s kinda sad to watch really. Late on race day?.? Seriously…?? Bad tire selection and or tire pressure??? WTF?
Indian need to get their shit together BIG TIME!
Obviously the HD factory bikes are both on the limit seeing they both blew up but if you make amateur mistakes like Indian did, then you might as well go home.
I SO want Indian to kick HD’s butt, but they won’t do it at this level.
