How about a indian owner/rider rally in the summer of 2015. Somewhere in the middle of the country. I was thinking Sparks America Oklahoma. It is a private campground that has all kinds of Biker events. If we get planing now it can happen. So come up with some ideas and lets get going. I am looking forward to meeting alot more Indian Motorcycle riders.

Ought to look at the one that's been going on in Branson for a decade that on Indian Point.
Hey David, I think you have a GREAT idea.

Loki, thanks for the info! I would never have had any idea about this rally. Seems like this rally could be the answer to David's wish. Would be a lot of fun meeting up with other Indian owners one has met on this site.

It's a great rally, Mike and Handan are the hosts at Hunter's Friend Resort. The rally has been going on for over a decade. Really low-key, no sponsors, lots of rides, and lost of Indian motorcycles. They host it the weekend before the season rate changes so you can get great rooms, condos, RV, or tent spaces. In the past, Kings Mountain and Polaris have all sent either their trucks or speakers to address the bikers and give them sneak peeks into the future of Indian. Definitely worth checking into.

I should also mention that the rally takes place on privately owned land and is family friendly. Things get fun at night, but nothing over the top.

Gotta agree here, been to a few, and it is very cool to see that many Indians in one place ( literally hundreds ). Some really nice riding out there as well.

I'm interested in this. I don't do rallys normally because of the commercialism, but this sounds different.

I attend an occasional BMW rally but I haven't taken the time for a couple years now. This Indian rally is definitely something I'm very interested in. Would be great to see so many Indians at one place!

Branson as a rally is way different, more friendly, very little drama, the jeopardy beer drinking game is a blast, lots of sitting in the pavilion at night getting to know other owners from around the world, so yea, not a normal rally. Indian Rally on Indian Point May 10th - 17th, 2014 | Branson Condos and Branson Resorts for nightly rent by Table Rock Lake

I have to make it from Cali, course if the weathers bad, then the souther route is a must, I got stuck in a sudden blizzard three years ago in Wyoming.

I'm going to Sturgis next year. Yeah I know it's gonna be "interesting" with it being the 75th year but I'd like to see as many ofthe "First 1901" numbered bikes there on the Saturday towards the rallys end at the Indian demo location. I'm on Indians FB page as well and starting next year I'm gonna post on their page as well this idea of assembling as many of the 2014 "First 1901" numbered bikes. I'm staying out at the Hill City KOA which is about 55 miles from Sturgis but real close to Mount Rushmore. I snagged a 2 room cabin but only from Thursday 8-6 to Monday 8-10.
There's a hell of a lot more to the area than the rally in Sturgis. I hope Indian has something news worthy to reveal next year. I'd love to see a version of the custom Indian Vintage with the Girder front fork they showed at the motorcycle show in NY last year or maybe an inline 4 bike!. Is that asking too much?.

IRIP (Indian Rally at Indian Point) is a great rally. Lots of great bikes and even better people. The Iron Indian Riders have been the driving force behind that rally. These are the people that kept the fire burning for Indian when it was dwindling down to a single flame. They are passionate, proud and dedicated to the brand. I will be there again this year. Yes the weather can be iffy, I rode the whole way in the COLD RAIN last year, but well worth it.

I will definitely be looking into this one. Looks like what I like in a Rally. More laid back and more like a bunch of friends just got together.

My grandson graduates about this time so I am out 2015, but 2016 I see as a option. Do believe I will do Sturgis for the 75th in 2015.
