Hi guys im just wandering if there's a guide somewhere to do a scout 15 handlebar change?
I have a feeling it's fairly simple but just to be sure i'd ask you guys!
Thanks

Try the SEARCH funtion. I just did mine. Super easy. If you've ever turned a wrench, you will have no problem. The biggest issue: swapping the grips. I suggest you get new grips before you start and replace the throttle side, leaving the left one on the stock bars. The stock grips are crap anyway. I installed Biltwell Renegades, they are great. Because I have big hands, I should have gotten the Recoils. No worries, next time.

I did a goodle search but got none scout specific ones and looked through the how to guides here.
I wouldn't have asked if i found a guide but thanks for your input with the grips... im not planning to change them just yet but some avon grips would do nicely!

It's pretty straightforward. The only real advice is that when putting the bars back on, slide the throttle grip on first, then place the bars in the cradle. Throttle cable doesn't have a lot of play in it.
And keep the brake fluid reservoir level at all times.

Mack's tip on the throttle grip on first is right on. I put reduced reach bars on the wife's scout. Had them powder coated black first. Be sure and cover the tank and front fender with a towel or small blanket. I'm old and drop things. Easy install.
