Recently the ABS light on my '17 scout would stay on beyond 5 mph. It would extinguish itself after 5 or 10 minutes. Strange but didn't really get me upset.

Today, light went out as it was designed, but on the way to work it came on mid-ride and stayed on. Once at work I pulled over, shut it down, waited a minute, started back up, and it came on and stayed on.

Assuming it is still not working properly on the way home I'm going to notify the dealer. Has anyone had similar experiences with their scout?

Between this and the quality issue with the starter (required dealer replacement), I'm not very happy with the quality of this bike. Love the bike, love the look, love the performance, but these multiple issues on a bike less than a year old is unsat,

It's definitely unusual, but sounds like an ABS sensor is intermittent. Definitely will be covered by warranty. I had a sensor go on my RM at ~13,000, 16 May 2016. Repaired and no issues since then.
