I had an old fork pouch that I was running on my Dyna, decided to try it out on the Scout for grins and giggles. I thought it looked pretty cool, left it on for now. I then looked closely at it and noticed a design on the little metal buttons on the straps. Looks like it is made just for it.

I was thinking about something like that since there is no storage under the seat. Wasn't sure if it would look good or not until now. Thanks for posting!

The funny thing about that is I bought it at Harley of El Cajon three years ago.

If you find any kind of leather bag lowers , whatever. Tandy leather has conchos in every style. The one in that picture of the indian head nickel has a very small fine thread screw to retain it. I made a windshield bag for my vintage and used the same thing.

That is a good find. I actually like the tan better than my black one. Now the real issue, I'm torn between black and tan saddlebags.

That tool bag is manufactured by "The Leatherworks". I have purchased a few of their products and found them to be of good quality (not personally affiliated). Don't think they produce it in brown but a quick eBay search for "motorcycle tool bag brown" turned up some cool stuff. The conchos are available at Tandy's Leather Supplies.
