The Cross Country Chase rally is a group of about 68 riders on 1930-1948 vintage bikes riding from Sault Ste. marie, MI to Key West, FL averaging 250-300 miles per day regardless of weather. They stopped yesterday at Andrae's H-D in Urbana, IL where I shot a ton of photos (mostly Indians of course!). Talking with the riders was much fun too.

One of the support staff bikes...obviously a modern Chief 111, but it fits right in!

I like the old one painted up to look like a bomber (One lucky bastard) with the 7 bar and shield (HD) and the 3 Excelsior "kills" or bombing runs on the fender... cool bike, nice detail... and named "Flying Fourtress"
