I read that the building order is by color not by first come first serve basis.

I know they changed the pics on the website that all scouts except the rogue come with chrome exhaust due to supply issues.

I have seen and heard some people mention that indian and/dealers will offer free black covers once available for bikes that should have them.

yup, just orderd mine on 4/1, can't wait. I was telling some of my friends this is the worst things they could do. I was told 6-8 weeks and I'm still checking this all the time, knowing that it hasn't changed but more of a wishful thinking lol

Do nt know how true it is but it brown customer service just told me from scheduled to shipped is generally 2-4weeks

I placed the order on 2/8/2022 and it arrived 3/24/2022 so 6 weeks or so. I ordered the Viking bags that are getting color matched to the Bike so I'm so excited to see it.

Indian is actively building rogues, spent a minute in the phone with them, they tool up for say the storm blue rogues, build a bunch for the orders and if you happen to order a storm blue while they are tooled up yours gets added in to the run, then they tool up for a different color and go, of course they couldn’t tell me when the scheduled run for black smoke midnights is
In the production run for that color the first out are the first orders etc…

I ordered my Scout bobber on 3/17. They were telling me that order are taking 10,12+ weeks. My dealer called me on 4/12 letting me know their Indian rep found a bike being shipped and they were going to reroute it to them. It should be here around 4/16.
One thing they did warn me about it that all scouts are being shipped with all chrome exhaust because of the shortage. And as the black parts come in they will ship them out to the customers to replace the chrome.

My patience is beginning to wear thin , ordered black smoke midnight rogue on 2/19, 8 weeks later still order confirmed, this is not what’s pissing me off , what’s pushing me off is othe BSM rogues ordered 4, and 6 weeks after me have schedule dates, and some build dates already INDIAN WTF ARE YOU DOING

I guess I've been going "rogue" since 2020 when I got my Scout. My next step is getting new wheels and tires. Still debating on what to do with the fenders though. And how to completely get rid of the rest of the chrome on the engine.

It's pretty well known that black powder coat and some paint colorants have been a huge problem for a while now. Some have been waiting for bikes since December 2021.

I bought that line until the exact same bike ordered 6 weeks after mine has scheduled / and in a few cases shipping dates already.
