I just purchased a 2021 Indian Scout, along with the cover from Indian. See link below for motorcycle cover.

I’ve only had the bike about a month or two, and noticed the other day when I removed the cover, there were scuff marks on the rear fender. It must have been due to the wind, I assume. The Indian motorcycle cover does not have a soft liner on the inside, so it’s the plastic rubbing on the fender.

I’ve since put a soft blanket on the fender, under the cover, and this has stopped it from any more marks, but I was wondering what to use to polish off the marks. Any suggestions?

While I’m at it, does anyone have suggestions about a different cover, with a soft liner on the inside?

Thanks,
Phil

Indian's clear coat seems to scratch/scuff very easily. A clay bar will do little to remove any scuff. I have had good success with Meguiars Scratch X, although be prepared to repeat the process several times. Use good microfiber towel to remove after each application.
