Sad that Indian stores closed. Sydney Melbourne Brisbane in Oz closed and had big fire sales. Polaris owns lots of stuff and their attention is elsewhere. Got a nice 'spin' letter saying that they figure Indian motorcycles can be bttert sold and serviced by independent distributorship - really? They hived off the brand to a stock market mob MCAS (motorcycle supplies) and suggested that sales and service would be much better for current and prospective Indian MC owners etc etc., and that it would have wider appeal. But guess what? Just BS written by a marketing exec. My recent shopping for parts/accessories at MCAS has been less than satisfactory and they appear not to do justice to the brand and show little interest. Clearing all stock thay can.

Just like it says a supermarket for just about anything for bikes and some brands, it looks like P just dump the Indian as far as AU is concerned.

Pretty much been that way here in the states . Most auto/truck/motorcycle dealers are independently owned. Helps lower liability and looks better on the books.
