We started to have some inquiries about this year’s event, so I shut down last year’s thread (where people were posting about this year’s event) and started this fresh one. I grafted the two posts from the other one over here. I personally have no details about the date etc so if somebody could post those, that would be appreciated.

How was last year’s? I know there was some controversy….

You can guess who they are I hope? Lol. The last two Guys on the left one is the promoter of the Indian bike week and the last guy on the end with his wife is a great supporter of Indian bike week that you all should come out and meet this August.

I’ve done it. It isn’t what it is promoted as. It’s a few bikes not well organized. It is said to be for charity however there have never been any 990s filed with the IRS.
just google the organizers name. He’s filed bankruptcy he’s been in jail.
Hi rolly which year did you attend? Also just for fact purposes the 990's were filled and the organiser is happy to pass onto you the details of the person who filled them for him. I will be able to answer the other bit when I return from the event.

I'm going this year, I'm looking forward to meeting others and going on the rides. This event takes a lot of time to put together and organize. Its a shame that some want to pull the focus away from the event, and try to focus on other things. Instead let's focus on the fact that it's a chance for riders to get together, have a few beers in the evening, and most importantly ride. For all of you going I will see you there, let's have a few drinks, make new friends, and ride the bikes we all love.

So I see a registration fee, but no indication of any benefit to registering, except a t-shirt. Does anyone know what other benefits there are to signing up?

Not really .. BUT... what he's done is locked you out of it UNLESS you register. So, it's all or none. Of course the angle is also .. free lunch at a casino ! ( hide your wallet) .. Meet Celebrities' ( do any of them even ride an Indian .. or .. a bike at all?) .. It's a game that's been played for a decade with the event. And the bottom line that is always used .. it's all for charity .. but... I call BS. Guessing one day the IRS will catch up with it all
