Curious what that average stock idle speed is for Scout(s) both models.

Note: I'm averaging 1025 RPM at idle, but, I am using an EJK and wondering if that's a wee high, thus the question.

Thanks in advance.

Nope. To my manual, your low.
Mine typically thumps about 1050-1100.
Which is what my 15' manual states i should expect.

Don't forget, it's an DOHC motor, they idle higher then a pushrod..

@Hatt - well there ya have it, someone who actually reads the manual :D
I'm good folks - question answered - as I begin looking for my 2 year old, unused, owners manual. I wonder if I sold it on Ebay like the rest of my "take offs". ;)

It used to bounce 1050-1100 until I started tuning. Now it's a bit higher...1100-1150...

1050-1100 on my stock sixty, then with Crushers, then with Aeromachs and same again with stage1 flash.
Also same as the sixty (stock with Crushers) I test rode.

Sure I've seen 1050-1100 quoted by others too.
