You all may know Seattle's reputation for rain and clouds, year-round (it actually gets less rain than LOTS of other cities -- NYC, SFO, DC, etc. -- but ours is spread-out over many many more days). Last winter was the wettest on record EVER, but I still got out on my then-bike a fair amount. Spring was no prize, weather-wise, and summer took a while in getting here (you don't rely on consistently good weather until after July 1st, if even then). I got my new Classic though on July 1st and my timing was lucky -- we've had a record 53 straight days (old record was 51) without measurable rainfall and we'll definitely get a few more before any possible threat of a little spotty rain maybe this weekend. No significant rain in the extended forecast, either. I'm getting out as much as I can on my Indian these days because I know what October through May is like around here!
