Relax people... It's just a concept bike... Electric bikes are coming, it's an evolution. Don't knock it, the torque in electric motors is freaking unbelievable. I saw a shoot out a few years back between a gas powered motor cross bike and an electric version. Very fun to watch and the electric version did equally well and exceeded in some areas as I recall. Yeah, it's not for everyone and I'm not interested in switching over but I'd like to try a few out to see what they are like.

Sure, I know, same guy that craves a Gear Indicator on his motorcycle...

Harley has an electric motorcycle in testing now. I think it is called live wire and they have actually taken one around the country to dealers. They had one here in Tampa not long ago.

I don't think they'll ever take off until they can go at least 150 miles and recharge in 15-20 minutes. Could be wrong though.

Mix some 2 stroke oil and gasoline in a bucket, place your helmet near the bucket (not TOO near) and downwind. Light the bucket. Wait 5 minutes.
