I know I have seen some info from Ronnie, but can't find it. Definitely need a bit more rumble. Any suggestions from those that have modified the Stage 1's. Thanks.

No, a Buddy put the headers on his Chieftain with Indian stage one exhaust.

I am thinking about the headers, his headers run at least 50 degrees cooler and exhaust is louder.

One must remember that the Chief/Chieftain range has the catalytic converter in the headers and the Scout doesn't. So, the TS111 headers will be cooler without the cat.

I have a 2014 Chieftain with stage one exhaust & Indian Big Sucker AC. Just added this week the Rush header pipes, PCV & had it dyno tuned. Wow! What a difference. First the sound of the exhaust has changed to a low rumbling growl and the over all performance is great. I think well worth the money. I went from 72.97 Max Power to 81.34 Max Power & from 102.78 Max Torque to 112.25 Max Torque. Very pleased. Just a little info for anybody thinking about doing this mod.

Did you have any issue with the Rush Headers and Indian slip-ons fitting? I have CFR slip-ons, and was thinking of switching out the stock headers, but don't want to have to buy Rush Slip-Ons.

I modified my stage 1s " along with a few of my riding buddys" and gave them a little more sound and rumble. You can do it right on the bike or pull them off , I do them on the bike.
You need to remove the tips and cut the tail pipe back to about 1/2 inch from the wall . then drill 9/16" holes around it evenly " so it looks good I made a templit out of sheetmetal". Then appx 18 inches up in the stage 1 pipe you have another wall/ baffle. I used a 3/8 drill bit " I welded a rod to the drill bit but you can buy extentions" to reach in threw your 9/16 in holes and drilled it out . Now this wasnt as neat because your drilling random holes in the baffle.
Everyone I have done this for has loved it.
