actually used the horn on my 2016 Scout 60 the other day and was ashamed..

So, I've done a (slight) upgrade and i think it is better, if not exactly loud - if you want loud there are other threads on bigger horns that require wiring etc.

0.1. Check your horn is down near your left foot behind the radiator, inside the gear change linkage, near the oil filter - if it's not - stop here!
1. Buy a Denali Soundbomb Mini
2. Undo two wires that plug into existing horn (by your left foot)
3. Undo 10mm nut on back of horn
4. Remove horn.
5. Take new horn out of box
6. Plug wires into new horn
7. Turn on ignition and press horn.. if no sound, switch the wires
8. Be at least a little impressed by improved horn
9. Turn off ignition
10. Present new horn to bracket, trumpet facing down, with one wire on either side of bracket.
11. Will fit nicely and bolt will go into existing bracket hole.
12. Move it around until it doesn't touch anywhere, especially the wires either side of the bracket
13. Place original nut on bolt and tighten with 10mm spanner
14. Repeat 7 and 8

5 minutes Lovely job.

Hmmmm.... Read this thread, bought this horn.
My experience.
1. Same level of noise as stock
2. Denali Sound Bomb darker and softer to the tone. (More like and old trumpet).

Conclusion. In my ears, no upgrade, same noise level, softer sound, = less effect.

My 2015/4 scout has the horn between the head light and left fork leg, high up. The Denali was a tight fit, and I had to remove the headlight, make an alternative mounting bracket and squeeze it in.
Maybe i should have been clear that my bike is a '16. I'm amazed indian moved the horn around so much in its first year or two of manufacture! I'll edit my original post - thanks for the feedback
