2016 purchased in March of 2016 new....now have 27k miles and 17k of those are with the Stage 3 Kit. Loving every mile so far!

Purchased my 15 RM February 2015 and have 76,025 as of today. This is the first year that I have not long tripped the bike since I owned it. I ride it every day living here on the Crystal Coast , N.C. Inclement weather permitting.

Good to hear from you Big Diddy ! Glad to see that your RM is broke in now, using it almost every day is good for the bike and also good for the soul ! I used to long trip a little 40-50 years ago ( the bikes were not very trustworthy then ) but discovered my annual miles went up when the long trips went away. I think it’s just because of the fact that preparation took a week and catch up took longer yet. Maybe your miles went up this year compared to last year with no long trip? Winter is slowly coming here but looks like we got 2 more weeks without much snow, fine by me to squeeze a few more miles before the inevitable comes. Hope you and your family are doing well ! Weather is getting crappy here out East, spending more time on this site than on my Chieftain. So who has the most miles on their Chieftain?

I have no complaints on this great bike from Indian Motorcycle, it runs a lot better than I do!!

Really enjoy your odometer updates! Although I am at a "measly" 64k miles, I, like you, am finding out the '14 Chieftains are pretty much bullet proof!

The extended warranty expired on October 2020, so I’m flying solo now. I only do the oil changes and filters. The power train is stock, it allows me a better chance of longevity!

Almost 25k on my 14 Vintage. Slight detonation when hot under load. Recently added a PCVX tune. Completely stock otherwise.

This bike just don’t know when to quit,,,,,,,,, and neither does its owner !! 40 years ago I never even dreamed an air cooled motorcycle could reach this kind of mileage without multiple mechanical repairs. I’m thankful to have experienced this in my lifetime. Ride safe and enjoy life everyone ! Larry Swenson

Power train has not been touched and the rest is all normal maintenance ! 2014 Chieftain has been very good to me!
