To members of the tribe. I have had to replace
You guys throwing milage of 60,000 plus would be nice to know what you’ve had to replace if anything other then tires and brakes fork oil brake fluid and a drive belt which I consider basic maintenance.
and brakes only in the last four years. This winter I'm looking to replace clutch cable and drive belt and the cush drive on the rear wheel.Bearings on the wheels will be checked at the tire changethis coming January. Other than that all stock bike no problems . I do my own maintainence..

I just want to say Larry S that you are an asset to the Indian Motorcycle Co. as well as all of the tribe members for all the information and support you have given in your post. The incredible mileage you have achieved and maintenance issues you have incurred and shared are commendable. I for one want to thank you ! I have more confidence in my 15 RM as the mileage keeps going up. My bike is ridden daily but also ride cross country one month out of the summer 2 up along with 12 to 15 hundred mile short trips around a five state area. I will be crossing upper Minn. the 2 nd week in august stopping in Bemidji overnight headed west this year. Ride safe and look forward to your next post!

Thanks for the come back on my post Larry. My wife and I traveled from the 29th of July to the 29th of August from the coast of N C to Michigan and then across the straights into the UP then east on US 2 all the way to Glacier National Park. The weather was perfect with one light misty shower for about three minutes somewhere in the vast openness of the High plains. Gas stops were no problem as long as you calculated how far you were from the next town. I carry an extra gallon in the left saddlebag just in case. US 93 south from GNP through the Bitteroot and Sawtooth mountains to Craters of the moon and then on to Saltlake city east on 80 to 40 in Utah to Vernal and Dinosaur Nat. Mem. onto Grand Junction Co. Thats just about half of the trip. I have to say what we saw of this great country and the work of Gods hand most people don't see because of the closure of an automobile! This was the 4th year my wife and I have taken a trip like this and we are looking forward to another one next year. Maybe a southern route through Florida and states west into New Mexico and Arizona. To many places to list in this post but all in all really great trip! Thanks for the asking.

HEY Larry Big Diddy here just got back on this site after a few months of workung on some of my 4 wheel autos.riding of course in the mean time. My wife and I just got back from a 2500 mile trip up to Michigan and back. The clock on the RM reads 92,423 worry free miles. You are setting the bar for all of us riders of this brand motorcycle and your to be commended for your endurance! Well done. Enjoy your retirement and keep on racking up those miles. All is well here in eastern NC. Mike
