I love my Indian, until I want to put it on the center stand, then I'm disappointed. Is there a safe way to support the bike vertically so I can do various things like wash and work on both sides, not just the right.
Hey. I like this concept. My concern is will it really fit the Indian and not foul/damage the brake lines underneath?Try this. The MotorCycle Stand - Heavy Duty Motorcycle Lift and Motorcycle Jack I know some people who have made a similar device out of wood.
I use a platform jack from my table that I no longer have. Works great.I love my Indian, until I want to put it on the center stand, then I'm disappointed. Is there a safe way to support the bike vertically so I can do various things like wash and work on both sides, not just the right.
Not sure, but the contact area is only as wide as the tubing. You would have to look under yours and see if there are clear areas it would go.Hey. I like this concept. My concern is will it really fit the Indian and not foul/damage the brake lines underneath?
Yup, I made one way back in the 80's for my LowRider. Worked great. I would think you could make one that would work to miss the brake lines. Hmmm, got me thinking.......Try this.
