I have noticed my stock mufflers just past the cat, appear to be discoloring the chrome. I am curious if this a permanent issue or can it be buffed out? I never noticed it before but I assume it could of likely happened on our last saddle sore run. Riding for nearly 19 hours straight at hwy speeds in ambient temps that exceeded 100 degrees F. Thanks in advance for any recommendations.

Some #0000 steel wool and chrome cleaner should take care of that.
