So thinking of swapping out handlebar grips to new Indian black ones. 2882828-468
Hard job ..or is it YouTube time,? Lol.

Not too hard, you have to split the switch cubes and then separate the switching controls, the switch cubes are indexed to the grips so they go in a certain way. All the you tube videos for Indian grip changes outs are 2017 and earlier. The Challenger uses the same switch cubes and grips as the 2018 + Chief/Roadmaster series. You most likely will have to pull the clutch and brake levers to get enough working room. The worst is the factory glues the crap out of the clutch side and you my have to cut it to get it off. Probably was glued on by the Red Loctite guy...........

I put grips on mine and the glue on the Challenger clutch side grip will break loose pretty easily. It's not the stuff they used on the 2019 Chieftains
