i just picked one of these up to match my future black bag addition. Brand new Genuine Indian black leather but matches the OEM classic seat perfectly. Free shipping. Also it has heat (I do not and will just keep the cable under it for future).. $399 from Indian and only $199 from eBay (or less if you make an offer, like I did, hint hint). 14-18 INDIAN CHEIF Genuine Leather Heated Passenger Seat - Black - 2880734-02 | eBay

A great buy.

Stolen or Chinese knockoffs. Thats less the Polaris wholesale. Ad only says its genuine leather not that its OEM.

Well the brand does say Indian so buying it with eBay does have some security because if it's not a genuine Indian product, you can send it back with the eBay guarantee so that's a plus

I got it today. Indian box, Indian hang tags, indian tab protecting foam, like my red seat and Indian part numbers all over it. It is genuine Indian! Exact match to my seat. I have seen the China junk. This is the real deal. I will post photos tomorrow. I would not have let you all know if it was a scam or China junk.

Here are the Picts with it mated to my OEM Chief seat. The screws were not included m6x16 ($3.00 at the hardware store with washers). Instructions and plastic bag with all correct numbers too. This is genuine. 4AA1A4F6-7D36-40C1-BE08-63374BCE09F0.jpeg 15B79F5E-24FF-4718-92DB-FD2444007795.jpeg 41A208AF-9F7C-4EE7-8399-217E4FC1781D.jpeg D7E418A8-4EA9-49E3-B2B0-80B378E18AAC.jpeg 0B3B3807-C4AB-486F-8D92-BF1B8ACC5392.jpeg 1805C9E6-F227-4F02-AB5B-AF44BE5D67B9.jpeg 78F9D797-CAD7-4E09-87A1-2422490A9613.jpeg

Interesting.
Just what I am after.
Have you noticed it’s different to the eBay pictured seat?
Yours is double stitched on the seated area.
Advert picture is single stitched.

Good catch. I looked at the Indian Part number on the web. I did not pay attention to the pic. Mine is double stitched and the seller will take offers.

Indian makes the same mistake. On the Indian website it’s single but all the other details show double.

Still, seat looks great.
They just accepted my offer within minutes.
So perhaps, I might just get the wife out on the back of my white Chief Classic later this month.

She will hate it and complain about no backrest and noisy silencers.
Until I show her this post. Then she will laugh.

Watch this space.
