Hey folks,
I own a 2015 Vintage and I can not stand the stock bars as I am 6'4".
I am purchasing 12 inch OEM's from someone that upgraded to 16's.
My questions are:
A: what is the height of the stock bars?
B: how do I measure them to know if I am getting the right height for me?

Most of the time the bar rise is measured from the area where it clamps to the stem up to the grips. This is not always the case though so you might have to do some additional research. This is the rise, not the overall length since most bars have pullback and bends making the overall tube length much longer. Aftermarket companies can use different measurements so it is most helpful when they specify the rise beyond the stock bars +4, +6, +8 etc. I'm seeing allot of aftermarket manufacturers specify the bars in terms of rise over stock height. Assuming the 12 inch OEM bars are the stock offering, the 16 should be a +4 bar.
In the case of the "12 inch OEM" bars you mention, you have to figure out if these are the same factory bars you already have or a small riser bar. Start by measuring your bars, or better yet, ask for a part number to see if they are just the stock bars. I have a hunch that the "OEM" bars are the ones that came with the bike and not an Indian accessory riser bar.
