I took my Chieftan in last week for the recall. It is 80 miles to Lakeside motor Sports from my house. With no waiting room due to the pandemic situation, I dropped it off and my wife picked me up. We went back the next day to pick it up. That's a lot of road time but with the bike needing cooldown time and the work itself, I just didn't want to wait all that long. I brought the bike home and parked it and haven't even looked at it again until today. I found the heat shield in this condition. It's not the worst that could happen but it's sloppy to say the least. Now I get to fix it. What else was done half assed? Not real happy to say the least.

That shouldn't happen. I'm guessing that the guy thought he could use the bent up original clips to hold it on instead of new ones.
