So there I was...5 miles from home, 6 miles from the gas station. As I pulled in the clutch to stop at an intersection, the low fuel light on my '16 Scout 60 popped on and the engine died. I thought it was a low fuel light but apparently it's more like a no fuel light 馃槉.
But she started back up and off I went to the next intersection 3 miles away. Again, clutch in, engine sputters and dies. Got it started again and off I went. 2 miles to home, 3 to gas station. Passed home, I think I can make it...
Now the point of the story. Do they make an aftermarket fuel gauge for Scouts? And also, in neutral, a Scout 60 is fairly easy to push a quarter mile to a gas station...

I鈥檝e observed if you ignore when it first goes on, it might actually turn back off and come on later.

Use the trip odometer.

I bought my scout 2 years ago and no one I鈥檝e seen has been able to come up with one. I use the trip and fill up at the 100 mile mark.
