I've had the Freedom 2.5" True Duals on my 14 Chief Classic for about 7 years now and I still love them. Besides the sound (baffles installed), which I continue to receive compliments on wherever I go, The pipes still look brand new. Of course when not riding my bike is kept in my garage which has a/c and heat.

Many have told me that I have the best sounding Indian they've ever heard. These pipes are sold as a complete system with the matching head pipe so they'll not fit very well with what would normally come on a Vintage or Classic. I do have a fuel moto tune installed. These pipes totally fulfill the the "old school" look, no top rail for hard bags though so you'll need leather bags which is most likely what you'll be going for anyway.

I live less than a mile from the Gulf between Sarasota and Venice in SW Florida and I've heard nay sayers say that the pipes would get pitted or rust from the salt air, at this point from my experience that's just not true. The only thing I would do different looking back is that I should have purchased these pipes 9 years ago instead of 7 years ago. You can't go wrong.

The True Duels come with their own baffles, my choice was to install them or not. I wanted some back pressure instead of just straight pipes, I never heard the pipes without the baffles - I was pleased with the sound. They're still on the louder side, the sound is great.
