I just had my 500 mile (ripoff) service on my 2025 Chieftain. They said there was a "minor" leak on one of the front forks.
Does anyone know if this is something that's covered under warranty since it's a new bike?

Thanks in advance

I would expect it to be, as the bike is just through the break in period. While they will claim it’s a wear item and not covered (Suspension). This would fall under a defect in materials or workmanship … even wear items can be covered under that circumstance…

It says in the warranty … “The exclusive remedy for the breach of this warranty shall be, at INDIAN MOTORCYCLE’s option, repair or replacement of any defective materials, components, or products.” (Top of page 217).

Here’s the customer service number for Polaris/Indian … if the Dealer gives you a hard time and you need to open a ticket … (877) 204-3697

Here’s the Warranty info from the owners manual…

You might just try using a tool to clean around the seal. Debris can get in there and cause a leak. Seal mate is a cheap option or make one yourSELF. I had one leaking cleaned it, and been good since.

Definitely should be under warranty. Mine have failed twice already. About 15K miles each time. Just a junk part. Make sure you do the fork oil change at 10K or they'll use that as a way to weasel out of covering the repair under warranty once yours leak a second time.
