Just had my shed at the top of my driveway reworked to drive right in from the driveway.Small ramp, not too much rise. The wood needs to be sealed.I was thinking of putting down the grit tape you can find at the box hardware store, after painting.Open to consider any ideas anyone has other than this.

If want to paint it. You can buy a box of silica sand and mix it with the paint. I have used it on handy capped ramps. Works really well.

There are also grippy paints for ramps etc. I did a wheelchair ramp with it for my wife some years ago. It looks like it will outlast anything and doesn't lose grip over time.

Here's an example.
