The Scout is a wonderful machine - it's early versions needed a lot of help with suspension issues and starter problems etc... but IT IS a wonderful motorcycle. I went through lots of different versions of seats and windshields and decided no windshield was the best option for me.
My favorite forum vendor has been Indian After Market @Marcus - very responsive.

Nice job on #124. I've been following your mods from the beginning. Some I'm sure that I've stolen or will steal for #507. You're always informative and have a keen eye for form and performance . Keep on posting.

Totally agree with you about Marcus at Indian Aftermarket. When it comes to customer service, which is a dying art, Marcus is Da Man!!! Very helpful and responsive, and best of all, an Indian RIDER.

I have a question about the horn. Do they ask if it needs to be 12 volt or 6 like some of the war bonnet fender light? Is it louder than the OEM horn?

I ran the oem horn wires directly to it and it worked fine on my scout.
