Is replacement the only fix?

My was replaced under warranty, but I've been told it has to be done within the first year because it's cosmetic. Don't understand why that matters, defective is defective...
Mine has moisture in it...is that something that would be covered under warrantee?

That is what I've been told.

Awesome,$200 to replace a defective part that should be covered on a 2 year old bike.I know they can't cover everything but Indian knows this is an issue.

On my 2014 Vintage, Indian recently replaced the fuel gauge because of the faded needle. They did it under the extended warranty. It cost me the $50 copay. By the way, the needle on the new gauge is orange. Not red like the speedometer needle. It makes the gauges look mismatched.
