I put over 13,000 miles on my Savage / S40 before swapping it for the scout. Don't let anybody tell you you can't have a lot of fun on a well made 650. Jet the carb, get rid of the stock exhaust, do the cam chain tensioner modification and you got a bulletproof bike, very user serviceable & quite perky, surprisingly so

Mighty fine looking young lady, just the way I like them. But fortunately I am now old enough and experienced enough that if I were to be given the choice of her or the bike, I'd take the bike. LOL

Looks like it but could also be a Norton. The tilt on the engine is built in for the Norton and would involve custom framework for a BSA. I’d like to see the lower half to be sure tho… mfg markings are usually on the lower casings for Brit bikes (exception for many Triumphs).

But to get a fuller look we’d have to pan back and I’d rather look closely at that lovely lass!
I think the engine only looks tilted because of the custom frame. I'd stake money on that being a BSA rocker cover pre 1967. I don't recall other brit bikes of that period having one like that.
