I recently added an extended reach Rogue seat to my 2019 Springfield, and I’m wondering if the fitment of the seat I received is correct. There is a bigger gap than I expected- I thought there would be a cleaner fit. Does this look normal to anyone else that has the same seat on their bike? Thanks for your opinion. I’m new to Indian and to the forum.

Hello- thanks for the response! I went back to the dealer to pick up my stock seat that they held for me, and checked out a Springfield Dark Horse on the floor while I was there. Since the regular Rogue seat is stock on that bike, I wanted to see how it compared. It has the same gap. The parts manager confirmed that’s how it’s supposed to look.

I’ve gotten used to it, and most people wouldn’t notice it, I guess. The seat solves a problem for me since I’m 6’2”: it puts me in a more comfortable riding position. I just finished a four day trip in the Smoky Mountains and I was happy with the better ergonomics. I’m happy with it.
