Send a note to your congressman and let them know you oppose E15.

There's a pretty strong move to get rid of ethanol or at least quit funding it all together.

I'm an admittedly proud tree-hugger and using corn to fuel our vehicles simply doesn't pass my smell test.
Adding 10% ethanol to my vehicles returns a 9% reduction in MPG?

Using our scarce water tables to grow fuel instead of food is also beyond common sense.

You can always find fuel that doesn't contain ethanol; yup it does costs more. I'm sure in some places it is more difficult to find than others. However, if you have an android phone check out the playstore for a free app named: Pure Gas (They make it for the iPhone too.)

Everything about Ethanol is crap. Everything about the math is crap....and everything about the theory behind using agriculture resources for fuel is crap.
Political lobbyists manipulating your economy greater than you realize. Corruption plain and simple, coupled with pure ignorance by your politicians.

Its a great fuel for performance applications but something with the mixture is the issue.

Here in the Akron Ohio area, my only choice is a boat marina.
And yes, I've used that app.

At least 1/2 of all the places to get real gas in Ohio are marinas.

I used to be able to get it one mile from my house, but about 2 or 3 years ago the owner claimed that there was no way for him to get it anymore.

When I'm on long trips I sometimes stumble onto it by pure chance.

You've got that right, a dude I once worked with converted his S-10 to run on E85. He posted a 9.96 quarter mile at the track, which is just crazy. I just watched this video again for the first time in years. It looks like he's selling it.

Wow that sucks! I bet this fact keeps your small engine repair shops busy rebuilding and cleaning carbs. OH has 41 stations listed, which is ~10 times less than what we have here in MN; crazy.

Marinas are the best source, lucky I live in a boat rich environment, but the fuel is about 60-75 cents a gallon more. I have had to drive my bike onto fuel docks to reach the pumps too, some folks stare, some gripe under their breath, but with the markup nobody whose vote counts complains...
